Excellence Végétale builds a collaborative portal for its members

Excellence Végétale, a French association representing horticulture sector stakeholders, needed a single collaborative portal to connect members, streamline knowledge sharing, and reduce reliance on email and meetings. After evaluating options, Excellence Végétale partnered with eXo Platform to build a rich social and collaborative solution that would provide activity streams, profiles, instant messaging, advanced content/news features, collaborative spaces, and knowledge management.

eXo Platform implemented the portal — branded “La Ruche d’EV” and launched in March 2020 — accessible on desktop and via iOS/Android apps. The solution delivered activity feeds, IM, likes/comments/sharing, document libraries, calendars and chat rooms so members can co-edit documents, schedule events and coordinate work. Since deployment eXo Platform’s portal has significantly improved top-down communications, enabled peer-to-peer engagement, and streamlined processes across the association.
