Codere bets on eXo for the management portal of its network of gambling machines

Codere, an international operator in the legal gambling sector with 800 employees and over 6,000 stations in Italy, faced the task of restructuring the Codere Network management system to centralize operations, streamline internal processes and guarantee compliance with AAMS regulations. To accelerate development and leverage prebuilt portal features plus vendor support, Codere selected eXo Platform as the foundation for a modern business portal.

Using eXo Platform as the portal front end—integrated with a jBPM process engine, a SOA backend, real‑time portlets and Cognos BI—the vendor delivered a secure, role‑based management portal with content management and visual task notifications, putting the revised system into production in just over a year. Seven years later the solution built on eXo Platform serves hundreds of users (more than a third logging in daily), has improved operational fluidity and development speed while maintaining regulatory compliance, and is now being extended toward a mobile version.
