Lakeshore Toltest (LTC) is a global construction management firm with more than 40 offices that operates many projects in remote locations with limited broadband—often relying on costly symmetrical satellite links. LTC faced poor application performance (notably Skype, e-mail and SharePoint), ballooning satellite bills (up to $17,000/month at some sites) and reduced productivity when personal Internet use consumed scarce bandwidth.
