Georgia College, a public liberal arts university in Milledgeville serving over 6,600 students and 300+ faculty and staff, faced severe network strain as mobile devices and streaming apps like YouTube and Netflix consumed bandwidth. Despite imposing a 10MB per-user cap, the campus routinely hit capacity during peak classroom and evening housing hours, degrading performance for academic and recreational applications.
