PureGym faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated billing and membership system to become more efficient, paperless, and cost-effective, particularly as it expanded its recurring personal training and new online sales capabilities. Exerp implemented new online capabilities through an API, creating a single source of truth for member, access, and financial data. This solution unlocked additional revenue from direct debit bounce fees and integrated access control, removing previous system barriers. The implementation supported PureGym's consistent annual growth, helping it become the UK's largest health club operator by sites and members, reaching over one million members by 2018.
