Case Study: Siderise achieves unified financial visibility and improved reporting with Exel Computer Systems plc's EFACS E/8

A Exel Computer Systems plc Case Study

Preview of the Siderise Case Study

Siderise is focused on improving the safety of the world's buildings through their passive fire solutions, and has been for nearly half a century

Siderise, a long-established specialist in passive fire solutions with divisions for insulation and specialist marine/rail/industrial products, faced fragmented, poorly integrated systems after a 2019 private equity acquisition that left management without the granular, consolidated financial and operational reporting they needed. Seeking a hosted, multi-company, multi-currency ERP with CRM and Field Service Management and mobile access, Siderise selected Exel Computer Systems plc and its EFACS E/8 ERP to replace the failing platform.

Exel Computer Systems plc implemented EFACS E/8 in an accelerated, phased rollout (going live in January 2021 after a six-month push instead of the typical 12–18 months), focusing on core functionality first and handling much of the work remotely during COVID. The result was a single, consistent source of truth, improved reporting and control, better remote access for Dubai and Singapore teams, mobile support for field staff, quicker processes embraced by users—and the company avoided another year’s licensing cost by meeting the new financial-year go-live target.
