Safetell - Customer Case Study

Safetell, a Dartford‑based manufacturer and installer of security solutions (bullet‑resistant doors, partitions and attack‑resistant screens), was running separate, ageing systems for manufacturing and installation that were manual, error‑prone and lacked the field‑service functionality needed as business volume grew. After a six‑month market review Safetell selected Exel Computer Systems plc’s EFACS E/8 as the modern, integrated ERP + Field Service solution that best met its manufacturing and FSM requirements.

Exel Computer Systems plc implemented EFACS E/8 (going live just over a year after selection), delivering a single integrated system that improved inventory control and traceability, increased utilisation of service engineers and resources, and tightened order‑to‑cash processes. The new solution enabled mobile, real‑time job updates so jobs are available for invoicing as soon as an engineer closes them—significantly improving cash flow—while also providing better reporting, workflow and reduced manual errors.
