Orbital Fabrications, a 45‑person specialist in stainless steel welding and assembly with just under £6m in sales, had outgrown its patchwork of spreadsheets, paper processes and basic accounting tools. Seeking an affordable, flexible ERP that wouldn’t impose heavy implementation overheads, the company selected Exel Computer Systems plc and its EFACS E/8 solution in August 2018 to replace disparate systems and support continued growth.
