Nordson Dage - Customer Case Study

Nordson DAGE, a division of Nordson Corporation and a leading supplier of Bondtester and X‑ray inspection systems, faced fragmented and over‑customised ERP systems: an ageing EFACS installation in the UK and spreadsheet‑based processes in China. The company needed to link its UK and China facilities, tighten inventory and supply‑chain control amid hundreds of product configurations and improve forecast accuracy. To meet these challenges it selected Exel Computer Systems plc to deliver a common multilingual ERP solution (EFACS E/8).

Exel Computer Systems plc implemented EFACS E/8, with the UK going live in December 2011 and China in June 2012, using a rapid, low‑disruption rollout (no business days lost and a single Saturday for live data migration). The implementation drove process redesign and data cleansing that cut obsolete part counts by 70%, improved intercompany and group visibility (including SAP integration), tightened the supply chain and provided a stable platform for future growth.
