MCT ReMan Ltd, a Weston-super-Mare remanufacturer of automotive components, needed to scale from workstation-based rebuilds to a production line model after a major contract win doubled expected volumes. Having long used Exel Computer Systems plc’s EFACS E/8 mainly for finance and accounting, the company also needed a way to track works orders and manage its complex “injection rate” planning for reused versus new parts.

Exel Computer Systems plc adapted EFACS E/8’s Mobile Workforce shop-floor data capture capabilities and added modules such as Document Management and Workflow to support the new production setup. The result was a successful shift to modern volume production, with output more than doubling, and MCT ReMan says this growth would have been highly unlikely without EFACS E/8.
