Barclays Portugal, a division of the major global financial services provider, sought to unify its 2,500-member team and motivate them for the coming year amidst a turbulent business environment. Their challenge was to communicate the company's vision, review performance, and celebrate employee accomplishments through a large-scale event. They engaged vendor Executive Visions Inc. for corporate events management and production services.

Executive Visions Inc. provided a turnkey solution, producing "State of the Business" and "Recognition" events at Lisbon's Pavilhão Atlântico. The solution included a massive cinematic screen, executive multimedia presentations, an interactive 3D avatar named "Eddie the Eagle" for audience engagement, and an audience response system for real-time feedback. The events also featured original video modules, a guest appearance by Olympic gold medalist Rosa Mota, an Academy Awards-style recognition ceremony, and concerts by major Portuguese musical acts. The vendor successfully created a platform for dialogue and a branded environment that reinforced the Barclays brand.
