Modernizing and re-architecting existing auction application

Proxibid, the online auction platform connecting buyers and sellers of high-value items across 15 categories, needed to re-architect its existing framework and add new features to support growth. It partnered with Excellarate (then operating as Synerzip) to help build and scale its auction application and improve the user experience for its web platform and seller tools.

Excellarate’s UX team worked with Proxibid to define UX strategy, create design workflows, and improve bidding scenarios using tools like Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Abstract. The team quickly understood the auction domain, collaborated closely with Proxibid on-site and offshore, led UX practices across the organization, and ran workshops to make stakeholders more design-sensitive, resulting in a stronger user experience and better alignment across teams.
