Vocera, a leader in clinical communication and workflow solutions for hospitals and healthcare organizations, partnered with Excellarate to improve the user experience of its Vocera Platform and mobile applications. The challenge was helping end users better understand where system alerts and alarms were originating, while also extending modules such as Staff Assignment and the Messaging Console for secure hospital communication.

Excellarate reworked the platform using Angular, RxJS, NgRx, and REST web services, and built an immersive hospital Experience Center and browser-based simulator to visualize patient care, room activity, alerts, and hardware interactions in real time. The solution also supported localization for regions including Australia and the UK, expanded cloud and mobile capabilities, and helped Vocera better demonstrate and deliver its healthcare workflows across devices and environments.
