DEPO needed help building its “Collaborative Buying” platform, which helps state and local governments secure volume-discount pricing for high-ticket purchases. Excellarate, then operating as Synerzip, was brought in because DEPO lacked the internal expertise needed for this complex application and was looking for a cost-effective development partner.

Excellarate developed the platform from scratch using Hibernate, a newly launched technology at the time, and successfully implemented the project. The solution handled DEPO’s complex requirements well, communication with the India team worked effectively, and DEPO saw a major cost advantage compared with hiring local software engineers, while expressing satisfaction with the overall experience.
