Exceleron implemented MyUsage Prepay so Oklahoma Electric could integrate prepayment with its billing and meter systems, using nightly meter readings and automatic disconnect/reconnect functionality. The results were strong: customers using prepay reduced energy use by 12% on average, 85% reported being satisfied or very satisfied, 76% would recommend the service, and customer service call volume for payment disputes and disconnect issues declined.
