Excelero enables VIVAVO’s video analytics service to deliver customers valuable insights from on-site camera footage

VIVAVO, a leading hybrid cloud service provider in Asia Pacific, sought to launch a new video analytics service but was constrained by its existing software-defined storage infrastructure. The service, VIVAVO Video System (VVS), demanded high-performance, low-latency storage at scale that its current architecture could not provide, posing a significant challenge to the solution's competitiveness. To overcome this, VIVAVO turned to Excelero and its NVMesh Server SAN software.

Excelero implemented its NVMesh solution, which leverages NVMe flash over the network to deliver the required high IOPS and ultra-low latency in a scalable architecture. This allowed VIVAVO’s analytics platform to perform real-time processing of "hot" video data. The results were dramatic, with Excelero's technology dramatically shortening the time to complete analytics on large data sets. This performance gain accelerated the analytics process for end-users, making VIVAVO's service far more competitive in the market.
