A ExamSoft Case Study
Lincoln Memorial University Law School, a new institution serving many first-generation students, faced the challenge of securing accreditation from the American Bar Association (ABA). This accreditation was critical for its graduates to sit for bar exams in any state. After an initial denial from the ABA, the school needed to demonstrate it could provide the academic support necessary for student success, particularly in achieving high bar passage rates. To help meet this challenge, the school adopted ExamSoft's platform.
By implementing ExamSoft, the faculty could tag exam questions to track student performance against bar exam topics and programmatic outcomes. This provided deep, individualized insights into student knowledge gaps, allowing for targeted interventions and smarter studying. The solution transformed instruction, increased student buy-in, and was instrumental in helping the school combat attrition and maintain its high bar passage rate. As a direct result of these efforts and the data provided by ExamSoft, Lincoln Memorial University Law School was granted full ABA accreditation in 2018.
