Ruder Finn, a global independent communications agency, was struggling with backup retention and restore performance. Backing up to disk without deduplication left only two days of data on disk before relying on tape, full backups ran more than 18 hours, and daily backup management and tape restores became a major pain point.

Ruder Finn deployed ExaGrid for its post-process deduplication and strong price/performance, which delivered up to 27:1 deduplication and expanded disk retention to 15 weeks.
