Pfizer needed to build an entirely new, secure backup storage architecture for a critical Industrial Control System cybersecurity project at its Andover campus. The challenge required a solution that integrated seamlessly with their chosen Veeam software, offered robust security, and could scale easily for future needs. The ExaGrid solution provided seamless integration with Veeam, leading to fast backup performance and rapid synthetic full backups. The architecture, featuring a Landing Zone and Retention Time-Lock, delivered strong ransomware recovery capabilities. Pfizer achieved a deduplication ratio of 16:1, allowing 90 days of backups for approximately 120 VMs while using only a small fraction of the available capacity. ExaGrid's scalable and reliable system performed flawlessly, reducing administrative overhead and providing a core component for the successful backup architecture.
