Maharam, a New York–based textiles company, was struggling with limited on-disk retention and slow, expensive restores because older backups lived on offsite tape. The solution proved easier to manage, more cost-effective than adding raw disk, and positioned Maharam to move toward tape elimination or offsite replication for disaster recovery.
