Largest Parking Company in Norway – EuroPark – Chooses ExaGrid for System Scalability

EuroPark, Norway’s largest parking company with 1,500 locations and about 27 million annual visits, faced rapidly depleting NAS disk capacity and growing backup management complexity across Oracle RMAN, Symantec Backup Exec and Veeam. With a small IT team, EuroPark needed an efficient, scalable alternative to simply buying more disk, which would be costly and wouldn’t improve backup performance.

EuroPark implemented ExaGrid’s disk-based backup with zone-level deduplication, which integrated with their existing backup applications and was simple to deploy. They purchased two ExaGrid systems for primary backup and automatic offsite replication, delivering much greater effective capacity, improved backup performance and manageability, robust disaster recovery, support for at least two years of data growth, and minimal ongoing intervention from the IT team.
