ISCorp improves backup performance and scales to 2,000+ devices with ExaGrid

ISCorp, a cloud service provider and systems integrator, was facing performance issues and scalability limitations with its previous Dell EMC CLARiiON SAN disk array backup solution. The system was difficult to expand and required significant administrative overhead to manage data replication for disaster recovery. To address these challenges, ISCorp implemented a tiered backup storage system from ExaGrid.

The ExaGrid solution provided a scalable, high-performance system that drastically reduced the time required to administer backups. The implementation allowed ISCorp to replicate its entire primary site to its disaster recovery location instead of just a subset of data, ensuring all customer data was protected. This helped ISCorp meet its customers' recovery point and recovery time objectives. The ExaGrid system also enabled a higher volume of backup jobs to be completed within the defined backup window and simplified future expansion with an easy scale-out process.
