Hackley Community Care Center (HCC), a multi‑service healthcare provider in Muskegon County, Michigan, needed to replace a slow, hard‑to‑manage backup system and add offsite replication for disaster recovery. Their weekly full backups routinely took more than 24 hours, management and troubleshooting consumed significant staff time, and they required five years of retention for growing volumes of patient and database data.

HCC virtualized backups with Veeam and deployed ExaGrid appliances at the primary site with replication to an offsite ExaGrid for DR.
