Merit Brass, a Cleveland-based manufacturer of stainless steel, brass, chrome-plated brass and aluminum pipe fittings, was struggling with slow, tape-based backups and time-consuming restores—single-file restores could take 45 minutes and nightly backups ran about ten hours (projected to grow to 15 hours with an ERP change).
