Logan & Company, a New Jersey firm that manages administrative and information needs for major bankruptcy proceedings since 1990, was struggling with slow, unreliable restores and long backup windows caused by tape-based backups. Restores were time-consuming with no guarantees of success, and nightly tape jobs forced critical systems like mail and Oracle to be unavailable during backups.
