Cloud Service Provider Improves RPO and RTO for Its Customers with ExaGrid

ISCorp, a Wisconsin-based private cloud provider founded in 1987, manages complex, compliance-driven environments for hundreds of customers. Backing up a large estate—over 1,300 VMs, 400+ physical servers and 2,000+ devices—onto an aging Dell EMC CLARiiON SAN with Commvault caused performance limits, scalability headaches and heavy administration, forcing ISCorp to restrict DR replication to selected data.

After a 90‑day POC, ISCorp deployed ExaGrid appliances at both primary and DR sites while keeping Commvault. ExaGrid’s landing zone, adaptive deduplication and scale‑out architecture delivered faster backups, parallel dedupe/replication, simple “set-and-forget” management and instant VM recoveries, allowing full-site replication, more backups within the same window, improved RPO/RTOs and a substantial reduction in staff time and operational stress.
