Blue Stream Fiber, a provider of broadband and managed IT services, needed a new storage solution to replace its low-capacity Supermicro storage and meet increasing customer demands for longer backup retention. The company, which uses Veeam for backups, required a system that offered strong integration, scalability, and enhanced data security.

ExaGrid implemented its Tiered Backup Storage with Veeam integration, featuring data deduplication and Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) appliances for security. This solution enabled Blue Stream Fiber to offer significantly longer retention periods to its customers by reducing its storage footprint with a combined deduplication ratio of 14:1.
