AGH, a boutique accounting and business advisory firm of 85 professionals serving clients nationally and internationally, was facing rapid data growth and a largely virtualized (≈95%) infrastructure. Relying on tape backups, they experienced long backup windows, multiple tapes per full backup, and multiple points of failure, and needed a faster, more reliable way to back up and restore virtual servers.

AGH deployed an ExaGrid disk-based, deduplicating appliance with Veeam (retaining Symantec for a few physical servers), gaining faster backups, rapid restores and Instant VM Recovery that allows VMs to run directly from the appliance if the SAN fails.
