Accura Replaces HPE StoreOnce with ExaGrid, Reduces Restore Times from Months to Minutes

Accura, a Denmark-based international law firm, was backing up virtualized Exchange and SQL environments with HPE StoreOnce and Veeam but suffered very slow restores—single files took 5–10 minutes and full server restores could take one to two months—preventing use of key Veeam features like SureBackup and undermining confidence in backups.

Accura replaced StoreOnce with ExaGrid’s scale-out appliances integrated with Veeam; ExaGrid’s landing zone and adaptive deduplication deliver faster backups, instant VM recoveries and easier scaling. The switch cut full-server restore times to about 10–15 minutes (files to ~1 minute), improved deduplication ratios (up to ~5:1), simplified DR replication, and restored IT confidence in backup and recovery.
