A Exago Case Study
Grupo Fleury, a leading Brazilian healthcare and clinical analysis group with ~10,000 employees, needed to scale and embed a culture of innovation beyond a manual, paper-based suggestion program. In September 2011 they partnered with Exago to deploy the Central de Ideias (Idea Market) — Exago’s tailored corporate social network — to open ideation to the whole organization and target up to 10,000 users.
Exago’s platform introduced a gamified, stock‑market style process (virtual “inove” credits), decentralized and transparent idea evaluation, and engagement management services. The results: more than 900 ideas implemented in just over two years, millions of reais in value created, over 6,800 active participants (~70% of staff within 15 months), average ~480 ideas/month (peaks near 1,000), and program costs cut (rewards budget about half previous levels); Exago has since extended the model to a 40‑supplier forum.
