Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD), which serves 34,384 students across three colleges and more than 370 acres, needed to modernize an antiquated network video recorder and centralize campus surveillance to improve safety and incident response. Exacq Technologies’ solution was deployed as 18 exacqVision IP camera servers pre-configured with exacqVision Enterprise VMS, integrated with 400+ Panasonic IP cameras plus the Exacq Mobile app and web server. The system enables campus police and IT staff to monitor multiple cameras, use PTZ and exacqReplay for rapid searches, export evidence within minutes, and remotely view incidents — leading to stopped ATM break-in attempts, solved bookstore shoplifting and vandalism cases, reduced operational costs, and easy scalability for future expansion.
