The Coupe is a 24-hour coffeehouse in Washington, D.C. that needed comprehensive video surveillance to protect employees and patrons, improve customer service, monitor staff, and keep an eye on after‑hours deliveries across its 7,000 sq. ft., 160‑foot storefront. To meet those needs the owner selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision Start VMS (with the exacq Mobile app) as the core of the solution.

Urban Alarm installed 13 ACTi 1101 IP cameras and a dealer-built server running exacqVision Start, which supports up to 16 cameras, giving managers desktop and mobile (Android/iPad) access to live and recorded video. With Exacq Technologies’ software the team can quickly review incidents to resolve customer complaints, verify employee procedures, monitor deliveries remotely, and retain usable evidence — improving service and boosting security across the restaurant.
