The Bates County Sheriff's Office faced an aging, analog surveillance system and multiple recording platforms that were becoming cumbersome to operate, all while working under tight local-government budget constraints. To improve monitoring of entrances, visitor areas and cell pods, Bates County selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision solution—deploying Z-Series IP and A-Series hybrid servers running exacqVision Enterprise VMS—to deliver an enterprise-class, cost‑effective upgrade.

Midwest Digital Systems implemented a mixed analog/IP design that let Bates County reuse existing Bosch analog cameras while adding Arecont and Stardot megapixel IP cameras, all recorded centrally on Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision servers.
