Party Co Inc., a retail party-supply chain headquartered in Manassas, VA with three additional stores, needed to protect assets and reduce shrinkage after relying on aging time‑lapse VCRs. To address suspected shoplifting and repeat offenses, Party Co Inc. selected Exacq Technologies and its exacqVision Hybrid Video Management System to modernize surveillance across all four locations.

Exacq Technologies installed four exacqVision 2U Hybrid servers with approximately 87 analog cameras and 4 IP cameras, integrated with CAM Commerce POS and linked over a WAN so management has real‑time access to live and recorded video. The solution replaced VCRs, provides searchable video with cash‑register receipt overlays, allows easy export to DVD/USB for police and employee review, and has helped Party Co Inc. investigate incidents, identify and apprehend suspects, and reduce shrinkage and repeat offenses.
