Metrolina Greenhouses, a family-owned operation with 160 acres of greenhouse space and 625 full-time employees (plus 200 seasonal), needed an upgraded surveillance solution to support large-scale operations, transportation logistics and critical areas like chemical storage and water-pumping. Their legacy DVR system and a makeshift, under-cooled server room lacked redundancy and modern IP capabilities, so they turned to Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision platform (deployed by integrator Enterprise Security Systems) to address these gaps.

ESS installed an exacqVision hybrid server (32-channel, 6 TB) and deployed exacqVision Professional VMS along with a mix of 32 Pelco analog cameras, 10 Panasonic IP cameras, multiple 6MP cameras and three PTZs, leveraging the existing Ethernet backbone and a new server room. The Exacq Technologies solution delivered 24/7 monitoring across parking, chemical storage, water-pumping and production areas, higher-resolution imagery, improved operational efficiency and reduced theft/vandalism risks while adding storage, redundancy and coverage in previously hard-to-reach locations.
