Little Sisters of the Poor - Customer Case Study

Little Sisters of the Poor in San Pedro, CA, a 100+ year residential care organization, faced a failing analog black-and-white surveillance system and increasing incidents like graffiti that threatened the safety of residents and assets. Victor Salcido engaged PhonesUSAplus and selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision IP Camera Server (6TB) and VMS to modernize and secure the six‑acre Jeanne Jugan Residence.

Exacq Technologies’ solution—an exacqVision 2U rackmount IP Camera Server with 6TB storage and client software—was installed with 21 Panasonic 3‑MP cameras and an Arecont Vision 8‑MP 180° camera, providing networked, high‑resolution coverage of four buildings, two entrance/exit gates and six parking areas. The Exacq Technologies system delivers real‑time feeds to the reception desk, reliable retention and markedly improved image quality and expandability, giving the Little Sisters of the Poor comprehensive surveillance and stronger protection for residents, staff and property.
