Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority - Customer Case Study

Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) was struggling with unreliable DVRs, low-resolution analog cameras and limited on-site access to video — problems that left staff unable to quickly find or export evidence needed to deter and prosecute policy violations. To upgrade to a networked, high-capacity, U.S.-made solution with high-resolution cameras, remote access, easy expansion and vehicle/suspect identification, LMHA selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision A-Series 4U rackmount IP Camera Servers and exacqVision server and client software (deployed with Arecont Vision cameras).

Zenith Systems deployed four exacqVision A-Series servers across LMHA properties along with dozens of high-definition Arecont Vision IP cameras (including multiple 8MP 180° units), and installed exacqVision client and mobile access for staff. Exacq Technologies’ system delivered fast SmartSearch forensic tools, easy exportable evidence and reliable remote viewing; the solution has helped identify drug dealers, vandals and a resident repeatedly pulling fire alarms, proved tenant fraud and theft, improved cooperation with local police, and generally increased resident safety and program integrity.
