Lake Forest High School needed to secure a historic, multi-building campus, deter theft, fighting and bullying, and give staff fast, easy access to recorded and live video for investigations and daily operations. With consulting from OCOM Sales, Inc., the school selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision Video Management System (VMS) to provide powerful searching, simple licensing, and an easy-to-use client for staff.

Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision was installed by Video and Sound, Inc. on two Dell PowerEdge 1950 servers with a Dell PowerVault 15 TB array, supporting 89 IP cameras (over 100 views) across a 2,000-user Cisco network. The system enabled single-operator monitoring of busy commons, faster evidence review that reduced time spent interviewing suspects, deterrence of incidents, improved facilities accountability, and operational uses like traffic-flow analysis and game review — delivering measurable safety and efficiency gains for Lake Forest High School.
