Ice Palace in Saint Petersburg is a 12,300‑seat multi‑purpose sports and entertainment complex that faced growing safety and monitoring challenges as events increased about 10% annually across five floors and more than 10,000 m². To improve situational awareness and evidence handling, the venue chose the exacqVision VMS (exacqVision Professional) from Exacq Technologies, deployed by integrator iPera, to provide scalable IP video management across a complex, multi‑camera environment.

iPera implemented Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision VMS integrated with Arecont Vision and Axis IP cameras, a main‑office video wall, PTZ control, fast search and clip export functionality. The exacqVision solution let staff quickly identify people, zoom into incidents, reduce counterfeit‑ticket and weapons incidents, speed incident response, and easily export video evidence for police — materially improving crowd control and overall spectator safety.
