ICA Group, one of Northern Europe’s leading retail companies with nearly 2,150 stores and a 56% market share in Sweden, operates a 105,000 m2 central distribution facility in Hacksta that handles 47% of ICA’s Swedish deliveries and more than 600 truck movements daily. To ensure employee and product safety, reduce shrinkage and better monitor this high‑traffic warehouse, ICA Group selected the exacqVision Enterprise VMS from Exacq Technologies.

Exacq Technologies deployed exacqVision Enterprise on eight rack‑mounted industrial servers connected via a dedicated fiber backbone with PoE switches and 180+ IP cameras (SD, HD and PTZ). Using the exacqVision client with features like multi‑level mapping, exacqRecall and exacqReplay, security staff can quickly search, export and play back video. The Exacq Technologies solution enabled more proactive monitoring and faster response, reduced the time staff spend searching for footage, and helped prevent misplaced or stolen assets and reduce shrinkage—improving overall warehouse safety.
