A Exacq Technologies Case Study
IASAir’s Dallas–Fort Worth bonded warehouse — a 170,000 sq. ft. facility handling high‑value cargo and Boeing 747 loads — was operating on an antiquated analog DVR system that lacked coverage, resolution and sufficient storage to meet strict U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements. IASAir engaged Integrated Access Systems, which recommended Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision network video management solution with high‑definition megapixel cameras to replace the aging analog system.
The deployment used Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision server and client software on Microsoft Server 2003, four exacqVision 4U IP camera servers with 8 TB each (32 TB total), PoE switches and a mix of 180° megapixel and 3‑MP cameras (including 18 180° units with four views each and a 3‑MP day/night camera). The new system gave IASAir complete bonded‑warehouse coverage, remote access from other facilities, clear identification of people and product numbers, faster retrieval of live and recorded video, and compliance with CBP rules — preventing misplaced or stolen cargo and extending the same solution to their 100,000 sq. ft. Orlando site.
