A Exacq Technologies Case Study
Hare Chevrolet, a sixth‑generation, family‑owned dealership in Noblesville, Indiana that sells more than 4,000 cars annually, needed to better protect over $20 million in inventory after aging analog cameras and a failing DVR threatened coverage of its 50,000 sq ft facility and large outdoor lot. Working with Conzer Security, Hare Chevrolet selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision VMS (exacqVision Start) along with IQeye IP cameras to replace the outdated system and provide comprehensive day/night monitoring.
Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision delivered auto‑detection of IP cameras, easy multi‑monitor operation, digital PTZ and powerful search/playback so staff across sales, service and IT could monitor activity with no special training. The system enabled Hare Chevrolet to quickly identify $8,800 in vehicle damage caused by a contractor’s forklift, export footage as evidence, reduce vandalism/theft and save the dealership thousands of dollars per year while simplifying investigations and daily monitoring.
