A Exacq Technologies Case Study
Gallery Place, a busy retail, dining and entertainment destination in downtown Washington, D.C., was operating with a failing surveillance server and needed to migrate to IP technology while retaining much of its analog camera infrastructure. Working with integrator Urban Alarm, Gallery Place selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision solution — including the exacqVision A-Series hybrid server and exacqVision Professional VMS software — to replace the aging system and modernize their security operations.
Exacq Technologies installed the exacqVision A-Series hybrid server (preloaded with exacqVision VMS) and the exacqVision Surveillance Keyboard, allowing analog and IP cameras (including an Axis P3367VE 5 MP camera) to run on a single, scalable platform. The solution preserved the existing Pelco switch, enabled 24/7 live and recorded monitoring across six operator monitors, simplified operator training, made exporting usable video evidence easy, and helped guards proactively address incidents — delivering a more reliable, scalable, and easy-to-operate command center for Gallery Place.
