Flushing Community Schools - Customer Case Study

Flushing Community Schools, a K–12 district serving about 4,277 students across eight buildings, needed a reliable way to "monitor student behavior after the fact," improve campus safety, and support investigations without ongoing outside IT costs. To meet those needs they selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision video management software (VMS) to give administrators searchable, recorded video evidence and controlled access for school principals and staff.

Exacq Technologies’ solution was deployed on two industry‑standard servers with a 30TB iSCSI disk array and now manages 149 IP cameras and encoders across the district. Principals and secretaries have client access to only their building’s cameras, staff can quickly search and export video to DVD or USB for parents or police, and the system has helped identify incidents, apprehend suspects, protect assets, reduce vandalism, and measurably reduce repeat offenses.
