Express Diagnostics International Inc., a Blue Earth, MN manufacturer and distributor of drug and alcohol testing kits, needed a scalable surveillance system as it grew from a small shop to a company of more than 90 employees. With multi‑million‑dollar inventory and no prior security in place, the company sought a solution to monitor employee performance, deter theft and secure its 33,000 sq. ft. campus. Their integrator, BEVCOMM, deployed Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision Enterprise VMS (with the Exacq Mobile app) to meet those needs.

BEVCOMM installed exacqVision Enterprise on a third‑party server using Axis and Vivotek IP cameras and a Cisco PoE switch, giving six managers instant access to live and recorded video via the free exacqVision client and mobile app. The Exacq Technologies solution enabled quick incident searches and easy video export, reduced theft, increased employee productivity, and allowed managers and the CEO to verify tasks and monitor the site remotely—vastly improving security and operations.
