Career Education Corporation (CEC), a network of more than 90 campuses serving 90,000+ students, needed to modernize and centralize campus security while preserving decades-old analog infrastructure. To avoid replacing cameras campus-by-campus, CEC selected Exacq Technologies and its exacqVision Professional VMS along with exacqVision A-Series hybrid camera servers to integrate existing analog cameras and add IP cameras where needed.

Exacq Technologies deployed 38 exacqVision A-Series servers (hybrid and IP) and pre‑installed exacqVision Professional VMS, unifying more than 1,500 cameras and 1,000+ door alarms into a single command center. The Exacq Technologies solution enabled remote monitoring of all 90 campuses (including real‑time wildfire monitoring in Colorado), faster investigations with exacqReplay and thumbnail search, reduced on‑site staffing and false alarms, and quicker evidence sharing with police — all delivered within about a year.
