Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport - Customer Case Study

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport faced a security and coverage challenge after a 125,000 sq. ft. terminal expansion and a surge in passengers: its aging analog DVRs and cameras only covered the old terminal and provided low-resolution images insufficient for incident identification. To modernize surveillance, the airport selected Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision Enterprise VMS (installed by Video & Sound Service Inc.) along with new IP cameras and an integrated access control review.

Exacq Technologies’ exacqVision Enterprise VMS was deployed with 135 Axis 3.1 MP IP cameras, Pivot3 servers, exacq Mobile and integration with RS2 access control, giving public safety staff 24/7 simultaneous viewing, event triggers, and control of 150+ doors. The system stores up to 89 days of video (with more than half of storage available), sped up investigations (e.g., identifying a baggage cart damage incident and a laptop swap in TSA screening), provides exportable evidence for passengers or law enforcement, and brought the airport into compliance with FAA/TSA requirements while improving operational efficiency.
