Bloom Township High School District 206 sought to maximize the safety of students and staff by replacing aging DVRs that were recording 225 analog cameras across two high schools and an administration building. Exacq Technologies supplied the exacqVision Hybrid Video Management Systems (VMS) to address the district’s security and evidence-management challenges while supporting the schools’ mission to provide a safe learning environment.

Exacq Technologies installed nine 32‑input exacqVision Hybrid servers with RAID5 storage, exacqVision server and client software on principals’ and secretaries’ PCs, and networked the sites via fiber/Ethernet. The deployment enabled fast digital video search, easy export to DVD/USB for parents or police, and building-level access control; these capabilities improved incident investigations, helped identify and apprehend suspects, protected assets, reduced vandalism, and helped reduce repeat offenses across the district.
