A Place Called Home - Customer Case Study

A Place Called Home (APCH), a nonprofit serving about 1,200 underserved youth in South Central Los Angeles, faced frequent camera outages, rising lease costs and gaps in video coverage that undermined safety. To replace the unreliable leased system, APCH worked with Exacq Technologies and its exacqVision solution (EL‑S hybrid servers, exacqVision Professional VMS and Exacq Mobile) for a permanent, cost‑effective surveillance platform.

Integrator Stewart Communications installed three Exacq Technologies EL‑S hybrid servers with 36 analog and 17 IP cameras to provide complete facility coverage, easy multi‑user VMS access and mobile alarm viewing. The Exacq Technologies deployment eliminated blackout periods over two years, enabled faster incident response and evidence sharing with police, is scalable for expansion, and saves APCH more than $6,000 per year.
