NTT DATA, a global technology and services provider with more than 129,000 employees, faced a fragmented security posture after rapid growth and multiple acquisitions left it managing several legacy SIEMs. Those systems could not scale to handle exponentially growing log volumes, were cost‑prohibitive under volume‑based pricing, and relied on rule‑based detection that missed modern threats—creating compliance and risk‑visibility challenges for the business.

NTT DATA selected Exabeam SIEM for its unlimited data lake, flat pricing, and user-and-entity behavioral analytics. A proof of concept and rapid rollout began in Tokyo (Aug–Nov 2018) and expanded globally, implementing 50 early use cases (e.g., compromised credentials, privileged-user misuse, insider abuse) and decommissioning legacy SIEMs. The deployment delivered stronger global security and compliance, deeper threat visibility, faster detection and response, and a solution NTT DATA now offers to its customers.
